Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) Proposes to Issue 200% Right Shares to the Shareholders

Kathmandu: The 9th Annual General Meeting of Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) has passed a resolution to issue 1:2 ratio i.e. 200 percent rightful shares. The proposal was passed by the General Assembly held at Sasa Banquet, New Market on Saturday under the chairmanship of the company’s chairman Kishore Subedi.

The capital collected from the rights issue will be invested in the Chujung Khola hydropower project of 63 megawatts capacity in Sankhuwasabha, promoted by Sangrila Urja Limited, in such a way that more than 51 percent share will be retained.

In the same way, the assembly has also passed a resolution to increase the capital of the company while granting authority to the board of directors of the company to perform the necessary actions in the regulatory bodies such as the Electricity Regulatory Commission, Nepal Securities Board, Nepal Stock Exchange, Registrar’s Office, etc. The assembly discussed and passed the annual report of the financial year 2078/079 and also appointed an auditor for the audit work.
