IPO Allotment of Barahi Hydropower Public Limited Concludes
Kathmandu: The IPO of Barahi Hydropower Company Limited has been concluded. The IPO was distributed at the office of NIBL Ace Capital Limited.
In the shares of the company, 11,91,284 valid applicants have applied for 13,078,100 units shares. As there are more applications than the demand for the company’s shares, the shares have been distributed at the minimum rate of 10 shares according to the Securities Issuance and Allotment Guidelines.
Accordingly, during the distribution of shares, 51,522 applicants have received shares at the rate of 10 shares out of the valid applicants.
This company, which has its registered office in Babarmahal, Kathmandu, has completed the construction of the 1.5 MW Theule Khola hydroelectric dam located on the border of Kushmisera and Cirkuwa VDCs in Baglung district and has started commercial production since 24th Ashadh 2074 BS and has been regularly selling electricity to Nepal Electricity Authority. The company has received the permission for electricity production on 07th Bhadra 2072 BS. This permission will remain in effect until 27th Ashadh 2107.
